In October We Wear Pink Pumpkin Plaid

      October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we want to help spread the message in any way that we can. To do that, we at Twist have come up with a fun idea: wear pink plaid every day in October! We hope you will join us this trending and wear pink plaid for this great cause throughout the month of October..



      While one can find just about anything in pink plaid these days, to make it a bit easier for everyone involved, below are some suggestions on how to appropriately get your pink on.

      It's important to note that men should not be afraid to participate. You would look adorable in pink pants or a shirt paired with blue jeans or khakis - whatever you feel most comfortable wearing!

      Ladies, we know that pink has a tendency to look "girly" and sexual. This is not the case! So, whether you want to wear a conservative shirt like this:

or something a bit more outgoing like these:

you should feel free to partake in our campaign without fear of judgement (unless you're wearing something below the waist; here's where judgment is totally appropriate).

Now, go out and get your pink on! Wear it proudly for all those who can't! As always, remember Twist.

Justice For Gabby

 On July 1, 2016, in the early morning hours, Gabby Hill-Carter, a 22 year old student at the University of Central Florida (UCF) was murdered outside of her apartment complex. She was killed by 24-year-old Robert German who is believed to have been stalking her for weeks prior to the night he followed her off campus and into her gated community where she lived with her twin sister Dominique. Gabby's family has not only lost someone dear to them but they're also fighting an uphill battle with UCF who has refused aid during this most trying time. Initially administrators said they didn't know what role if any they could play in helping the Carter family with funeral expenses or counseling services for Gabby's twin sister.
